Adding some leafy greens to your morning smoothie is a great way to increase the nutrient content and add protein as well. And don’t worry, your lovely morning smoothie is not going to taste like a glass of vegetables because the other ingredients combine to make a delicious flavour.

1 handful of leafy greens like spinach or kale
250ml of coconut water or filtered water
1 handful of almonds
1 banana
½ cup of blueberries
1 tsp chia seeds
Optional – add some ginger to spice it up a bit.
